Woman at Loretta Lynn's Ranch dies after being struck by motorcycle that hit golf cart

HURRICANE MILLS, Tenn. — A deadly crash occurred at Loretta Lynn's ranch as thousands of motorcyclists attend an event there.
A crash involving a motorcycle , a golf cart and a pedestrian took place just after 5:30 p.m. Friday on an unnamed roadway of Loretta Lynn's Ranch. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist hit the golf cart after it swerved to avoid a pot hole, then landed on the pedestrian walking across the roadway.
The pedestrian died in the crash, according to THP. She is identified as 55-year-old Kellie Goodman, of South Carolina.
The motorcyclist is identified as 34-year-old Daniel R Heman, of Indiana. THP said he will be charged with vehicular homicide and DUI in the crash.
Heman, nor the three people on the golf cart, were injured.
The seventh annual Tennessee Motorcycles and Music Revival is taking place at the ranch until Sunday. The popular, four-day festival, is Tennessee's largest motorcycle gathering.
