one dead, one injured after vehicle accident in Huntingdon County

HUNTINGDON COUNTY, Pa. — One man is dead and another injured after a vehicle accident Monday morning in Porter Township, Huntingdon County, state police say.
According to a press release, a 24-year-old male was traveling west on William Penn Highway just after 5 a.m. and was attempting to make a right turn onto Grange Hall Road while a 19-year-old male, whose name has not yet been released, was traveling east.
State police say the 19-year-old crossed over the travel lanes and drove through a business parking lot, across a grass embankment and onto Grange Hall Road.
The press release states that the 19-year-old struck the other driver on the front end of their car, pushing the other driver across William Penn Highway, blocking the eastbound lane of travel.
According to state police, the 19-year-old driver was pushed onto Grange Hall Road in the opposing lane of travel.
State police say the 19-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene and that the other driver was taken to Penn Highlands Hospital with minor injuries.
