Nearly $350K awarded to Johnstown businesses hurt by pandemic; more help still available

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — The City of Johnstown has awarded nearly $350,000 to 24 businesses that’ve been hurt by COVID-19, city officials say.
The grants are part of the city’s Small Business Relief Fund which made $1 million available through CARES Act funding.
Officials say the city has awarded a total of $343,440 throughout round one of the program.
Round two of the program will open up Monday and small businesses in Johnstown are being encouraged to apply.
