Mike Tomlin planning to return to Steelers in 2024

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin reportedly addressed the players and coaches on Tuesday and informed them that he plans on returning to the team in 2024.

For the past several weeks, there has been speculation that Tomlin may "step down" as the Steelers head coach at the end of the season and discuss his future with his family.

According to reports from ESPN and NFL Insider Mike Garafolo, Tomlin allegedly addressed said speculation less than 24 hours after the Steelers' playoff loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Following Monday's playoff loss, Tomlin made headlines after he "abruptly" walked away from the postgame press conference after being asked about his future with the team.

Since then, several Steelers' players, including TJ Watt and Cam Heyward, have addressed the rumors and speculation and have voiced their support for Tomlin.

"I want to play for Mike T," Watt reportedly told the media.

Coach Tomlin has one year remaining on his current contract with the Steelers.
