Crews battle fire at Holts Grocery in Grampian
GRAMPIAN, Pa. (WJAC) — A fire broke out Tuesday night at a grocery store in Clearfield County.
According to officials, it happened at Holts Grocery in Grampian Borough around 8:30 p.m.
Almost a dozen crews were called to help fight the flames.
Officials say there was a partial collapse in the back of the building.
A bait shop, Da' Worm Farm, also suffered damage from the fire, according to dispatch.
An initial estimate cost of damage is $500,000.
Officials said two firefighters were injured fighting the fire. One was treated and released at the scene while the other was transported to Penn Highlands Clearfield for evaluation, officials said.
Investigators have not said how the fire started, but a state police fire marshal is investigating.
